Er war zuerst in der Lehrerausbildung an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Berlin tätig, dann überwiegend im Arbeits- und Gesundheitsschutz beim Bundesverband der Unfallkassen in München und beim Hauptverband der gewerblichen Berufsgenossenschaften, bis 2011 in Dresden als Abteilungsleiter an Institut für Arbeit und Gesundheit (IAG) der Deutschen Gesetzlichen Unfallversicherung. Seit 2011 stellt er in Dresden Galerieräume für Künstler zur Verfügung. Im BDP e.V. war er in zahlreichen Funktionen tätig (u. a. Vizepräsident, Vorsitzender der Sektion Wirtschaftspsychologie und Vorsitzender der Landesgruppe Mitteldeutschland). Mit Claudia Rockstroh hat er Seminare zur Berufsorientierung und zum Berufseinstieg für Psychologiestudierende entwickelt und führt diese seit 2013 erfolgreich durch." ],
